Recruitment’s Reinstatement Program

The Reinstatement Program is designed to give former staff members of the Scala Network a direct path back onto the moderation team without needing to reapply as a Trainee. If you resigned in good standing, left within the last five months, and feel ready to return, this program gives you the opportunity to do so by reaching out directly to staff management.

We understand that life happens sometimes staff have to step down due to personal reasons or time constraints. If you left on good terms and still meet our standards, we believe you shouldn’t need to start over from scratch. This process is lighter than the full application route but still ensures the team is bringing back people who are qualified and prepared to return.

Reinstatement Eligibility

To qualify for the program, you must meet the following:

  • You resigned from a Moderator or Sr. Moderator role between 1 and 5 months ago.

  • You left on good terms and followed the proper resignation policy.

  • You met activity and maturity standards before leaving, and you're prepared to meet them again.

  • You have no recent punishments:

    • No Severity 1 punishments in the last month.

    • No Severity 2 punishments in the last three months.

    • No Severity 3 or higher punishments at all.

  • You still have a solid understanding of Scala’s policies, procedures, and expectations.

🗣️ How It Works

There’s no formal application form for reinstatement.

  1. Contact Staff Management – If you’re interested in returning, send a message to the Reinstatement Lead or any member of the Recruitment team.

  2. Interview – You'll be scheduled for a voice interview on our Discord server. The conversation will cover your previous experience, your current availability, and some basic situational and policy-based questions to ensure you're still aligned with team standards.

  3. Decision – Once the interview is complete and your history is reviewed, the team will make a final decision. If accepted, you’ll rejoin the staff team. If denied, you’ll need to wait two weeks before reaching out again.

🧭 Reinstatement Oversight

The program is overseen by Scala’s Staff Management team, and directly managed by the Reinstatement Lead. Any qualified management member may handle an individual reinstatement process. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
